Position Overview
The E-Commerce Administrator will oversee the day-to-day management of marathonwatch.com and other online sales platforms including Amazon and Staples. Operating primarily on-site in Vaughan with opportunities for occasional remote work, the role requires collaboration with Creative and Brand Marketing teams to support growth and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product listings by uploading, categorizing, and revising descriptions, pricing, and images on the website.
- Maintain and update e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and Amazon, ensuring listings, inventory, and prices are accurate and current.
- Monitor stock levels and SKU availability, coordinating with warehouses to ensure timely order fulfillment and stock transfers between Canadian and US Amazon facilities.
- Act as the primary liaison for third-party e-commerce suppliers handling returns, shipment tracking, and discount arrangements.
- Conduct website maintenance, including troubleshooting broken links, testing checkout processes, and optimizing product pages for SEO and conversion rates.
- Support marketing campaigns by assisting with discount code setups, gift promotions, and aligning site merchandising with promotional activities.
- Analyze website performance through GA4 and platform dashboards, interpret sales and customer data, and provide insights to enhance revenue and engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing, customer service, IT, and logistics teams to implement campaigns and improve the overall customer experience.
- Contribute to e-commerce development projects including planning, documentation, testing, and deployment for continuous site innovation.
Qualifications
- At least three years’ experience in a dynamic e-commerce environment.
- Practical experience managing and updating e-commerce websites and portals, especially platforms like Shopify and Amazon.
- Understanding of e-commerce marketing strategies, product development, competitive analysis, consumer behavior, industry trends, and best usability practices.
- Knowledge of digital sales platforms and tactics to enhance website conversion rates.
- Proficient in web design fundamentals, including HTML and CSS, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent analytical and multitasking capabilities.
- Degree or diploma in Marketing or a related discipline.
