Overview

The Human Resources role at HINCOL encompasses a broad range of responsibilities. As part of the HR Team, you will engage in multiple cross-disciplinary areas such as talent acquisition and management, workforce planning, designing and executing training and development initiatives, managing performance, competency mapping, career progression, employee engagement, and change management. You will coordinate with Senior Managers, the Executive Committee, and multiple internal and external partners. Your focus will be on developing and implementing HR strategies and solutions aligned with the company’s business goals, covering efficient recruitment, optimizing employee potential, managing full employee lifecycle processes, supporting daily HR operations, and contributing to process enhancements and policy development.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various teams to deliver comprehensive HR solutions.
  • Build a skilled and dedicated workforce relevant to the industry.
  • Assess and plan manpower needs, ensuring timely completion of recruitment processes.
  • Manage all stages of the employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, performance evaluation, employee relations, and exit processes.
  • Align HR KPIs and performance review systems with strategic and operational business objectives.
  • Create and implement a thorough competency framework for employees organization-wide.
  • Determine role-specific skills required and develop corresponding training and development programs.
  • Coach underperforming employees to foster performance improvement.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements related to performance, retention, and engagement.
  • Establish communication channels to facilitate regular dialogue between employees and management.
  • Review and propose adjustments to compensation and benefits policies periodically.
  • Leverage analytical abilities to introduce innovative HR solutions that positively influence business outcomes.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, performance pay implementation, and payroll processes using ERP/SAP for 200-300 employees.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements including PF, ESIC, LWF, PT, and contract labor regulations.
  • Lead organizational development initiatives such as leadership growth and employee wellness programs.
  • Coordinate employee engagement efforts.
  • Oversee training initiatives including annual training calendar planning and competency development programmes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in HR/Personnel Management or MBA in HR/Personnel Management from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 to 10 years prior experience in a mid-sized organization handling talent acquisition, payroll management, competency mapping, training and development, employee relations, labor law compliance, and HR policy implementation.
  • Experience with SAP HRM, specifically the Payroll Module, is advantageous.
