Overview

Join our team as a Drug Safety Scientist specialized in pharmacovigilance operations, focused on monitoring drug safety and surveillance. We seek experienced professionals with a background in pharmacy to support biopharma clients in managing the life cycle of pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex problem analysis and resolution related to drug safety cases.
  • Manage case identification, data input, MedDRA coding, case processing, submission, and follow-ups of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in compliance with client protocols and global regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate daily activities with peers and maintain moderate client and management interaction.
  • Work with minimal supervision on routine tasks and moderate guidance on new assignments.
  • Take responsibility for decisions that affect individual and team outputs.
  • May lead small teams or projects and contribute as an individual contributor.
  • Available to work in rotational shift patterns as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Pharmacy.
  • Between 5 to 8 years’ experience in pharmacovigilance and drug safety monitoring.

Additional Information

This position contributes to ensuring the safety of pharmaceutical products by gathering and analyzing data from clinical trials and healthcare sources to identify and prevent adverse drug events. Effective pharmacovigilance is essential to protect public health and comply with regulatory guidelines.
