Overview
The Document Controller plays a crucial role at Basatin Landscaping SPLLC in Abu Dhabi, ensuring efficient management, organization, and supervision of project and operational documentation within the Operations - Construction division. This position facilitates smooth project delivery by overseeing documentation workflows and guaranteeing adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accurate filing and archiving of all project documents to enable easy access and maintain version control.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement QA/QC documentation procedures that meet both company and industry standards.
- Act as a liaison to facilitate communication and information exchange among contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support project advancement.
- Assist in preparing and circulating reports, drawings, and specifications related to landscaping, irrigation, and utility services.
- Continuously update and monitor the document management system to ensure data accuracy and security.
- Provide site supervision teams with timely access to necessary technical documentation for landscaping and MEP coordination.
- Track documentation deadlines and expiration dates rigorously to maintain compliance and take corrective measures as needed.
- Collaborate effectively within the Operations - Construction team promoting teamwork and a customer-oriented mindset.
Qualifications and Competencies
Applicants should have completed relevant certification or diploma in document control, construction management, or administrative support. Knowledge of landscaping, irrigation, and utility services documentation is highly preferred. A basic understanding of technology and data management is advantageous, as modern document control often involves digital systems.
Key personal attributes include a proactive and action-driven attitude, strong communication skills, and thorough knowledge of QA/QC processes.
Experience and Skills
Successful candidates will have relevant experience in document control or comparable roles within construction or landscaping industries, especially with knowledge of MEP coordination and site supervision.
