The client is an innovative petrochemical company focused on manufacturing and trading paints, coatings, resins, adhesives, and construction chemicals. Their operations and factories extend across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Job Overview
This full-time position requires managing and overseeing daily delivery and dispatch schedules to guarantee prompt and effective distribution activities at their factory located in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. The role involves working closely with multiple internal departments for streamlined logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, plan, and supervise daily distribution and delivery timelines ensuring schedules are met efficiently.
- Collaborate actively with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and Transport teams to maintain seamless logistics operations.
- Enhance utilization of the transport fleet, track key performance indicators related to logistics, and find ways to boost transportation efficiency and overall operational productivity.
- Maintain accurate shipping documents, uphold health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance, and promptly handle any delivery challenges.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar field is required.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated work experience in logistics, transport, dispatch, or distribution roles within the paint manufacturing sector or a closely related industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of delivery scheduling, vehicle fleet coordination, and logistics workflows.
- Preferable skills include familiarity with ERP systems, advanced proficiency in MS Office, and logistics management software.
