About the Company
Gary Graham Transport Ltd., based in Glencoe, Ontario, is a cross-border trucking company that specializes in transporting bulk agricultural products and equipment between Canada and the United States.
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role involves scheduling bulk agricultural shipments across Canada and the U.S., dispatching drivers efficiently, and managing customer service with professionalism and promptness.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and book bulk agricultural shipments between Canadian and U.S. locations.
- Dispatch drivers to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
- Address customer service inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience working as a dispatcher.
- Familiarity with customs procedures in both the United States and Canada.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the agricultural industry is considered an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary of $80,000 annually.
- Health and dental coverage available after 90 days of employment.
- Payroll deposits processed weekly directly to employees.
