Role Overview

The Director of Learning Programs will craft and oversee the strategic learning vision across Stepful’s growing suite of healthcare education programs. Responsibilities include managing curriculum quality, designing instructional delivery methods, orchestrating clinical rotations, and driving continuous outcome improvement. The role involves leading a team comprised of curriculum developers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts while collaborating with Product, Operations, Compliance, and healthcare partners. Reporting directly to the SVP of Learning and Operations, this role requires a hands-on leader skilled at creating scalable systems and using data for enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a learning strategy aligned with student needs, business goals, and workforce demand.
  • Own the roadmap for launching new curricula, upgrades, assessments, and diverse learning modes.
  • Lead end-to-end development and introduction of high-quality online and blended healthcare programs.
  • Establish scalable processes for curriculum development and maintenance across multiple programs.
  • Innovate by applying AI and new technologies for personalized learning and improved engagement.
  • Engage with healthcare employers and academic bodies to understand evolving industry and workforce requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Compliance, and Workforce Solutions to enhance experiences based on stakeholder feedback.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Over 10 years’ experience in online/blended learning, curriculum design, academic program management, or education operations.
  • Background in healthcare education, educational technology, or workforce development sectors.
  • Proven leadership of teams including curriculum developers and instructional designers.
  • Strong analytical skills to leverage data for improved educational outcomes.
  • Ability to simplify complex healthcare or technical content into accessible learning materials.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
