Locker in the City is a rapidly expanding TravelTech scaleup offering fully automated, 24/7 smart luggage lockers without on-site staff, located in city centers. Serving thousands of travelers daily, it enables luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. The company continues to develop its versatile technology beyond luggage storage, and aims for sustainable growth aligned with business expansion.

Role Overview

You will join the Product team and be an active voice in design decisions. More than just executing designs, you'll shape the evolution of the digital product and brand. The essence of good design here is a seamless blend of utility and aesthetics that users hardly notice.

• Craft engaging, functional user experiences that enhance the digital product and booking funnel (city search → date → store → locker → payment), optimizing each step for higher conversion.
• Design and continuously improve the website and city/campaign landing pages, ensuring consistency across markets and languages.
• Collaborate with the product team to contribute design expertise, prioritize improvements, and propose early-stage solutions.
• Maintain and develop the design system using Figma, working closely with IT during handoffs to minimize implementation errors.
• Support CRO initiatives and experimentation, leveraging behavioral data to iteratively refine designs.
• Create digital marketing assets such as transactional and campaign emails, paid creatives, and social media content, preserving brand integrity at all touchpoints.
• Produce original illustrations and store graphics (e.g., vinyls with the architecture team) adapted for various formats.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in digital/product design, preferably in multidisciplinary settings.
• Proficient with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator for vector illustration.
• Strong foundation in UX/UI, user-centered design, prototyping, and responsive design.
• Experience designing products and websites focused on conversion optimization, including landing pages, funnels, and e-commerce/reservation flows.
• Comfortable applying data-driven design through analytics, A/B testing, or CRO methods.
• Ability to build and maintain cohesive design systems across platforms.
• Experience using generative AI tools for creative workflows (image generation, concept iteration, asset production), enhancing output without replacing design judgment.
• Skill in creating and adapting original illustrations across various formats.
• Clear communication of visual concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly organized, autonomous, and detail-oriented.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or front-end development, and experience with agile methodologies.
