About Intelligent Change and the Role

The Designer role is pivotal in crafting the brand's visual identity. You will play a key part in shaping how millions experience the company through every visual element before reading any text.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce appealing and meaningful visual designs primarily for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, as well as Meta ads, emails, and digital campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Social teams to deliver social-first visuals that maintain brand quality and drive engagement.
- Design a variety of digital content including static posts, carousels, stories, reels covers, and conceptual motion graphics.
- Help develop and preserve a coherent visual identity across all customer interactions.
- Contribute creatively to campaign planning, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and new artistic directions.
- Assist with design tasks related to physical products such as packaging, journals, cards, books, and marketing collateral like inserts, retail displays, and presentations.
- Prepare print-ready artwork and work collaboratively with product development and marketing teams to execute cohesive campaigns.
- Engage in creative dialogue with team members, providing and receiving constructive feedback to elevate work quality.
- Stay inspired by trends and references from diverse fields like fashion, publishing, interiors, and wellness, and continuously refine your design skills.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a refined sense of visual aesthetics demonstrated through a portfolio showcasing expertise in typography, composition, and detailed design execution.
- Understand social media dynamics to create native, captivating, and share-worthy content without compromising brand integrity.
- Appreciate both digital and physical product design; excited by packaging and printed materials.
- Strong collaborator and communicator, comfortable working with writers, marketers, photographers, and developers.
- Aligned with values of mindfulness, personal growth, and intentional living, resonating deeply with the brand’s mission.
- Meticulous attention to every design detail including spacing, kerning, and print finishes.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least two years of experience in graphic or brand design.
- An outstanding portfolio that reflects strong visual sensibility.
- Proven experience designing content for social media platforms.
- Advanced skills in typography and editorial design.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and Capcut.
- Experience with AI design tools such as Claude, Midjourney, or similar platforms.
- Previous work on packaging or printed products is highly advantageous.
- Additional experience in motion design, photography, art direction, or editing is beneficial.
Employment Details
This is a full-time, fully remote contract position open to candidates globally who can work overlapping hours with teams across Eastern Time and GMT zones. Preference is given to applicants located in Toronto or Montreal due to occasional in-person collaboration for content shoots.
