Job Overview
This role, Deputy Manager - HR Business Partner & Operations, seeks an experienced HR professional who brings together a strong understanding of business, analytics, technology proficiency, perceptive people skills, and rigorous execution capabilities. It blends HR business partnering with comprehensive HR operations duties. Initially, responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, HRMIS management, input for payroll, employee documentation, compliance assistance, auditing, training coordination, and employee communications. Over time, the role is expected to evolve into encompassing broader HR strategy, organizational development, and leadership activities.
The position demands more than advisory or coordinating functions; it requires a hands-on approach committed to bolstering HR processes and owning responsibilities through to completion.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leaders to grasp staffing needs, technical skills, and specific role outcomes.
- Analyze technical and non-technical job functions deeply to select candidates based on actual work output rather than just résumé keywords.
- Manage full-life-cycle recruitment for various roles in firmware, software, hardware, product, sales, marketing, and support.
- Conduct structured HR interviews assessing communication skills, motivation, accountability, stability, cultural fit, compensation expectations, and career plans.
- Develop and maintain location and skill-specific compensation insights for equitable hiring decisions.
- Maintain transparent communication with candidates and stakeholders about recruitment progress and timelines.
- Maintain systems for recruitment tracking, talent pipelines, and dashboards.
- Engage in campus outreach presenting the company's value proposition.
- Handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle including pre-joining, onboarding, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, salary increments, performance support, and exit processes.
- Prepare and verify all employee-related letters and communications with high accuracy.
- Manage employee records, master data, and organizational documentation.
- Design and execute effective onboarding programs including induction and system access.
- Conduct employee check-ins and exit interviews; analyze feedback and define corrective actions ensuring resolution.
- Maintain and improve HRMIS systems through understanding business needs, testing, training users, resolving system issues, and driving adoption.
- Support digitization initiatives for payroll, onboarding, travel, performance management, and other HR workflows.
- Ensure precise payroll inputs and reconciliation, maintain documentation and approvals, and collaborate closely with finance for timely salary processing.
- Coordinate statutory compliance activities and audits, ensuring complete and audit-ready records and timely issue resolution.
- Support training and development initiatives including needs analysis, scheduling, vendor coordination, feedback collection, and measuring training impact.
- Manage employee relations with empathy and confidentiality, mediating disputes to reach practical resolutions.

Eligible candidates hold degrees in disciplines such as B.Tech or B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Business System, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Electronics, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, CSE, ECE, EEE, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Robotics and Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
