Deputy Group Leader Dementia Care 80% (m/f/d)

About the Role

The Hasle-Rüegsau nursing home, with a team of over 100 employees, provides 72 residents with professional and modern living, care, and support. We are currently enhancing our dementia care team and seek a qualified professional to join as Deputy Group Leader of Dementia Care at 80% capacity, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the group leader in administrative, organizational, and conceptual tasks while ensuring personalized, person-centered care and support for 8 residents in the dementia care unit. Active involvement in care delivery is essential to improving care quality and assisting the team. Responsibilities also include participation in training, integrating residents' wishes, engaging with relatives, and cross-departmental collaboration. Acting as the group leader's representative during their absence is also part of the role.

Candidate Profile

• Completed training as a long-term care specialist or certified healthcare professional (FaGe) with experience in dementia care.
• Strong social skills, resilience, and sense of responsibility.
• Passion for caregiving and sensitivity when working with people affected by dementia.
• Knowledge of interRAI LTCF assessment tool.
• Proficient German language skills, both spoken and written.
