Job Overview
This role involves picking up grocery and parcel items from a designated dark store and delivering them promptly to customers, targeting delivery times of 10 to 20 minutes. The Delivery Boy will use a dedicated partner application to manage orders and maintain performance ratings. The work is primarily field-based and requires the use of a bike or scooter.
Work Schedule and Salary
The job offers flexible shifts including morning, evening, and night slots, and can be undertaken either full-time or part-time. Payment is order-based with additional incentives and petrol allowances. Earnings vary widely depending on orders completed, working hours, and area demand. Typical monthly earnings for regular full-time workers range between ₹20,000 and ₹30,000. High performers working 10–12+ hours daily and completing 25–40+ deliveries per day, especially during peak hours in busy urban areas, can earn between ₹40,000 and ₹70,000. With extra effort and incentives, earnings exceeding ₹80,000 monthly are attainable.
Income Details and Conditions
The payment structure includes base pay, per-order earnings, incentives, and petrol reimbursement. Per-order income averages ₹20–₹35, and a typical day's income after incentives is approximately ₹900–₹1,200 based on completing 30 orders. However, income is not a fixed salary but depends on order availability, geographic demand, and working hours. Fuel costs are generally the responsibility of the delivery person, and some days might yield lower income.
