Role Overview

As a Delivery Boy at Blinkit, your primary responsibility includes collecting grocery items or parcels from one of our dark stores and delivering them to customers within a targeted timeframe of 10 to 20 minutes, utilizing the Blinkit Partner App to track your orders and maintain good ratings and punctuality.

Work Details

• Position can be full-time or part-time
• Flexible shift options available including morning, evening, and night shifts
• Mostly outdoor fieldwork requiring your own bike or scooter to perform deliveries

Compensation Structure

Delivery earnings are based on a per order payment plus incentives and petrol allowance rather than a fixed salary, categorized as gig-based income.

• Per order payment ranges between ₹20 and ₹35, with average earning approximately ₹25 per delivery
• Monthly income varies from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 for regular full-time workers
• High performers working long hours can earn from ₹40,000 up to ₹70,000
• Extra heavy workload with incentives can lead to earnings exceeding ₹80,000 per month

Achieving a ₹40,000 to ₹50,000 salary typically requires working over 10–12 hours daily, completing 25 to 40 or more deliveries per day, operating in busy urban locations especially during peak evening and night hours, and leveraging incentives and bonuses.

Important Considerations

• Income is variable and depends heavily on order availability, area demand, your working hours, and petrol costs which you may bear
• Some days might yield lower earnings due to these factors

Example Earnings Calculation

Delivering 30 orders daily at ₹25 each plus incentives of ₹200 to ₹500 can total between ₹900 and ₹1,200 per day, resulting in a monthly income around ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 for approximately 26 working days.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age must be 18 years or older
• Must possess a bike and a valid driving license
• Requirements include an Android smartphone as well as having Aadhaar, PAN, and a bank account for payments
