Role Overview

The Deli Clerk position entails executing a comprehensive range of responsibilities with professionalism, accuracy, and promptness. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, fostering customer loyalty, addressing customer needs effectively, and promoting a positive atmosphere for both employees and patrons.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply fully with Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety regulations, company policies, and various corporate initiatives.
• Serve customers attentively to meet their requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and an organized appearance in the work area.
• Accurately process deli customer orders.
• Implement merchandising and program activities for deli products.
• Handle and prepare deli items with care.
• Enhance store revenue by actively promoting products.
• Assist in training junior team members.
• Place and receive stock orders following company inventory controls as needed.
• Manage department shrinkage control procedures.
• Ensure a tidy and safe workplace environment according to company standards.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
