The Trevor Project is a leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit serving LGBTQ+ young people. It provides 24/7 crisis support by connecting highly trained counselors with young people whenever help is needed. Role overview
In this position, you will play a critical technical role in supporting donor systems and revenue channels. The work centers on keeping fundraising data healthy, accurate, and moving smoothly across systems so that fundraising strategy and donor relations are informed by reliable information.
Work location and classification
This is a remote role for candidates based in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii. It is a full-time, nonexempt position. The role is part of a union bargaining unit.

Compensation
The starting pay range for this role is $30 to $31 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Run and oversee data syncs and ETL processes between the main CRM and third-party revenue channels, including DSAI, Direct Mail, and NCOA, while preserving consistency and accuracy.
- Create, maintain, and run reports and data extracts for finance, development, and marketing teams to support reconciliation, campaign review, and list creation.
- Serve as the primary contact for data-related requests from the advancement team and channel leaders.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for data quality issues, system errors, and integration breakdowns across donor systems.
- Manage duplicate record merges, routine data updates, and basic system support questions.
- Build efficient methods for loading data into Salesforce when direct integrations are unavailable, or for separating third-party data streams when needed.
- Administer donor-facing platforms and CRM settings such as user profiles, custom objects, and validation rules in collaboration with development and technology teams.
- Partner closely with revenue, marketing, and content teams to support systems-related work.
- Document data flows, integrations, reporting processes, and data quality standards thoroughly and consistently.
- Work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and contribute effectively with others.
- Maintain a strong focus on accuracy and detail in daily work.
- Help sustain an inclusive environment where belonging is actively supported.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience administering and managing data in a major CRM platform such as Salesforce NPSP, Raiser’s Edge, or Dynamics.
- Ability to use data-querying tools or languages such as SQL, SOQL, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions for extracting and manipulating data.
- Experience with integration or ETL tools such as Mulesoft, Zapier, or Informatica to connect different systems.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Proven planning and problem-solving ability, including multitasking and staying effective under tight deadlines.
