Job Overview
Build Zero is seeking an entry to junior-level Data Insights Analyst who will play a key role in supporting data analysis, reporting, and guiding business decisions through data-driven insights. This position is well-suited for recent graduates or professionals early in their careers with a passion for transforming data into meaningful recommendations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Aggregate, cleanse, and organize datasets from diverse sources for analysis.
- Identify trends, patterns, potential opportunities, and risks through thorough data examination.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visual presentations tailored for internal stakeholders.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess overall business metrics.
- Conduct data validation to guarantee consistency and accuracy of information.
- Interpret complex datasets and provide clear, actionable insights to benefit various teams.
- Support analyses concerning market dynamics, customer behavior, product performance, and operations as needed.
- Collaborate closely with departments such as Business, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Technology on data-centric projects.
- Contribute to creating recurring reports and enhancing methods for data analysis.
- Detect gaps in current data collection; propose enhancements for better reporting.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation covering data origins, analytic procedures, and reporting protocols.
- Keep abreast of evolving analytics tools, technologies, and relevant industry developments.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience ranging from none to two years in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar domain; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong skills in analysis, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required.
- Basic understanding of SQL and managing relational databases.
- Exposure to visualization and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, or R is advantageous.
- Fundamental knowledge of data visualization principles and basic statistical concepts.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to handle extensive datasets effectively.
- Strong communication skills to relay data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for learning new analytical tools, techniques, and technologies.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
