The company delivers revenue cycle management and SaaS solutions to hospitals, health systems, and physician groups nationwide. Its tools help clients recover revenue, simplify workflows, and improve margins in a healthcare environment shaped by evolving reimbursement models, price transparency, and population health priorities.

About the Role

The Data Analyst will examine, test, validate, and maintain claims and payment data for assigned clients. This position helps ensure client data is loaded into PMMC systems accurately and on time, while preserving data integrity, following set procedures, and supporting broader business goals. The role works across teams to investigate data issues, improve processes, and deliver dependable outcomes that contribute to client success.

Work Arrangement

  • Start contributing to the department’s Transact SQL library by writing, using, and maintaining scripts.
  • Track daily client imports in the Auto Import workflow for outsourced accounts and resolve data errors or exceptions.
  • Work with internal and external IT partners to set up data transfers and troubleshoot transfer-related problems.
  • Use healthcare ANSI-standard data feeds to support PMMC import processes.
  • Spot software defects in PMMC products, record them clearly, and recommend practical fixes.
  • Build familiarity with PMMC Contract PRO and Estimator PRO for consulting and simulation work, including their data specification requirements.
  • Use scripting and programming tools to speed up daily work and deliver data solutions to clients.
  • Apply basic project management concepts as they relate to PMMC products, keeping work aligned with standards and deadlines.
  • Oversee Auto Import setup and manage error resolution steps.
  • Process financial exports, including both standard and non-standard export workflows.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred in business, healthcare administration, finance/accounting, computer science, or information technology.
  • Between 1 and 5 years of experience in data analysis, testing, interfacing, systems analysis, project implementations, hospital managed care, government reimbursement analysis, or hospital-based financial analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation, issue tracking, and client interaction.
  • Working knowledge of contract management and implementation steps from a data standpoint.
  • Hands-on experience with data import and export processes, especially in Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
  • Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle concepts, including hospital charges, claims, and workflow.
  • Ability to write and interpret basic Transact-SQL.
  • Exposure to healthcare EDI claims and remittance formats such as 837 and 835 ANSI files.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with scripting and/or general programming.
  • Basic to intermediate T-SQL knowledge.
