Data Analyst

About the Role

Our client in the public sector is seeking a Data Analyst for a contract position extending initially until September 30th, 2026, with a probable extension through December 2026 pending funding confirmation. This position involves supporting the deployment of a vital Asset Management system that influences the maintenance and operational health of key national infrastructure.

The successful candidate will analyse data, enhance data quality initiatives, and optimize asset information systems to deliver reliable data and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and perform analysis on data extracted from ServiceNow modules.
• Provide support for both operational and strategic data demands.
• Continuously monitor and improve the integrity and quality of data.
• Create documentation for data models and analytics processes.
• Convert business requirements into meaningful technical reports.
• Work closely with stakeholders and offer support to senior management.

Skills & Experience

• 1 to 2 years of professional experience in data analysis and reporting, particularly with Power BI or similar platforms.
• Capable of developing strong working relationships and engaging effectively within rapidly changing environments.
• Detail-oriented with sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency preferred in Excel, ServiceNow, and Power Query.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks is an advantage.
