About the opportunity
This opening is with a fast-growing fintech business in Munich. You would join a compact, collaborative client support group that is central to keeping customers satisfied, streamlining operations, and helping the company scale successfully.
Role overview
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Munich, Germany. The role is mainly office-based, with the option to work from home occasionally. A fully remote arrangement is not available.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Compliance to keep trade handling smooth and resolve issues quickly.
- Guide customers and provide ongoing support so they understand the processes and require less follow-up help later.
- Track outstanding receivables and follow up to help maintain healthy cash flow.
- Review open trades that need wire instructions, monitor their status, and escalate any settlement risks when needed.
- Keep customer records up to date in Salesforce and document all client communication accurately.
- Handle standard customer complaints on your own and route more complex matters to the right team or manager.
- Work in line with GDPR, CASS, and company policies, while serving as a contact point for compliance-related questions.
- Maintain a high level of service and develop strong, lasting client relationships.
What the company is looking for
- Fluency in German at C2 level and English at C1 level.
- At least 1 year of experience in client support or another customer-facing position.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Comfortable using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems.
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal abilities.
- A flexible, proactive mindset with willingness to learn in a changing environment.
- Previous exposure to banking, financial services, or a related sector is preferred.
