Role overview

The Customer Success Associate supports Tendo’s Marketplace providers by handling day-to-day operational needs, keeping provider listings current, and helping ensure a smooth experience across the customer journey. Work location

This is a remote position. Tendo has hubs in San Francisco, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; Chicago, Illinois; Nashville, Tennessee; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Applicants may be based in any of these hub locations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary support contact for providers by answering questions and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and sustain strong provider relationships that encourage engagement and satisfaction.
  • Handle procedure additions and removals, and set up new bundles when needed.
  • Process customer requests and follow the company’s established resolution workflows.
  • Track provider activity and take initiative to improve the customer experience, including reducing the risk of partner churn.
  • Explain Marketplace tools, features, and recommended practices to providers.
  • Work with Sales and Support to address escalations and maintain a positive customer journey.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare environment is necessary.
  • Two to three years of experience in implementation, account management, or a similar function.
  • Strong skills in customer service and relationship management.
  • Proven ability to resolve escalated or challenging support cases.
  • Good listening and presentation abilities.
  • Capability to review information, identify issues, and help resolve problems.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle priorities, stay organized, and manage several tasks at once.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Self-driven and motivated to work independently.
  • Preferred experience with Single Case Agreements, insurance payer contracting, or provider revenue cycle operations.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system is a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare marketplaces or bundled payment models is beneficial.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is $46,750 to $60,000 per year. Final pay will depend on factors such as location and experience. Tendo also provides an equity package, annual bonuses, and benefits for full-time employees.
