About the Role
Join Vhi as a Customer Engagement Advisor based in Kilkenny, working in a hybrid model after onboarding with fully on-site training. This position focuses on engaging with customers regarding their private health insurance needs, assisting with inbound inquiries, and offering expert advice on various health insurance products. The role requires enthusiasm for meaningful customer interactions and a drive to achieve results in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls from prospective and existing customers.
- Deliver outstanding sales and customer service support.
- Develop trusting relationships and build rapport with customers.
- Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate health insurance options.
- Handle inbound sales queries including new policies and renewals.
- Meet individual performance targets while upholding high service quality.
- Efficiently navigate multiple IT systems under time-sensitive conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and various internal departments.
- Work one Saturday every four weeks across different shift schedules.
Requirements
- Possess a third-level qualification or have 1–2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
- Hold or be willing to obtain an APA qualification (CIP or Dip PMI).
- Demonstrate strong IT proficiency with confidence in using multiple systems.
- Customer-oriented mindset with commitment to sales and service excellence.
- Ability to thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced setting.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Resilient and confident in managing complex customer matters.
- Detail-focused and highly accurate.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and cooperative team member.
