About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Delivery Manager to join a prominent retail business in Dublin Airport Business Park. This role is pivotal in leading and managing customer delivery operations across the Republic of Ireland. The position involves overseeing delivery performance, collaborating closely with drivers, transport providers, and internal departments, and ensuring outstanding service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture the Customer Delivery team across Ireland, fostering a positive culture centered on service excellence.
- Oversee daily delivery operations and maintain high service performance standards.
- Coordinate with drivers, transport partners, and various internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Track key performance indicators, manage budgets, and assess operational effectiveness.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement improvements.
- Support the Head of Department and provide coverage as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in managing operational, transport, delivery, or retail teams.
- Strong leadership, people management, and coaching capabilities.
- Experience engaging directly with drivers, transport service providers, or home delivery operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on and proactive problem-solving approach.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the Republic of Ireland.
- Background in retail, logistics, fulfillment, or customer delivery settings is highly preferred.
Additional Details
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required during peak periods.
- Salary range: €50,000 to €55,000 per year.
- Benefits include a company phone, laptop, and reimbursement of mileage expenses.
- A valid driver's license and access to private transport are essential.
