About the Role
The Creative Director at SixSpeed leads the artistic vision, transforming business needs, consumer insights, and cultural trends into unique ideas that distinguish brands. This role demands strong leadership to maintain team alignment and produce high-quality creative output. The Creative Director guides projects from concept through execution, overseeing campaigns, brand experiences, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative direction for integrated campaigns involving outdoor, retail, and CPG brands within collaborative teams.
- Develop strategic approaches for marketing, advertising, and branding efforts.
- Create work that is strategically effective and creatively bold to deeply connect brands and audiences uniquely.
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, understanding their markets and business challenges.
- Communicate client goals and market insights to inspire creative teams.
- Motivate teams to excel and foster a creative work environment.
- Drive and evolve the SixSpeed creative process to continually improve output.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to maintain quality within budget and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the Account team to provide insights supporting client projects.
- Keep teams and agency current with branding, marketing, advertising trends, and technology.
- Assign and supervise work of copywriters, designers, and other creative roles.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.
- Plan and monitor project schedules and resources to meet deadlines.
- Ensure creative work stays within financial plans.
- Manage hiring and oversight of freelance and full-time creative personnel.
- Review and curate creative deliverables for client presentations.
- Present creative concepts to clients and refine solutions based on feedback.
- Mentor direct reports, encouraging development and growth.
- Promote SixSpeed’s presence through thought leadership and industry engagement.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 7 to 15 years of professional experience in advertising or marketing.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite—InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator—and familiar with After Effects.
- Strong foundation in typography, color theory, and visual composition.
- Experienced with large-scale campaigns and video production for global clients.
- Skilled at cultivating collaborative relationships with account and creative teams and clients.
- Reliable project owner with strong task management abilities.
- Thrives under constraints and challenges.
- Positive, open-minded, action-oriented, and a committed team player.
- Creative with strong visual and linguistic concept generation skills.
- Eager to explore new tools, stay abreast of industry trends, and enhance skills.
- Effective communicator with an engaging, persuasive style.

Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 annually, with the final offer based on the candidate’s experience, competencies, and qualifications.
