Role Overview
Warner Hotels is seeking a Creative Designer for a fixed 12-month contract to cover maternity leave starting October 2026. This position is based onsite at the Hemel Hempstead Hub for three days each week. The Creative Designer will play a key role in developing brand-focused creative assets, working on both marketing campaigns and everyday design needs. You will craft visually captivating and brand-consistent materials for various print and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Creative Lead Designer in generating concepts and visual styles for campaigns across Warner Hotels, including its sub-brands Warner Comfort and Reserve by Warner Hotels.
- Execute campaign ideas from conception to final design, adapting creatively across formats and channels.
- Contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns, brand moments, seasonal promotions, and propositions.
- Translate briefs into creative, guest-centric, and distinctive designs.
- Utilize photography, illustration, typography, colour, and layout techniques to produce engaging creatives aligned with campaign goals.
- Maintain brand consistency and act as a brand guardian ensuring all guest communications align with brand tone and target audience.
- Operate confidently with multiple brand identities, adjusting styles appropriately for diverse segments.
- Produce polished designs across print and digital media, employing strong layout, typography, hierarchy, and storytelling skills.
- Create and prepare accurate print-ready artwork with correct bleed, safe zones, resolution, and colour settings.
- Develop digital assets tailored to specifications including file format, size, and platform requirements.
- Adapt campaign materials across various formats while preserving quality and uniformity.
- Carefully proofread work to minimize errors and need for revisions.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Lead Designer, creative team, and internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Respond constructively to feedback and manage revisions efficiently.
- Clarify unclear briefs by asking pertinent questions and flagging potential issues early.
- Contribute to enhancing creative workflows, templates, and team processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Significant practical experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail in artwork creation.
- Ability to handle multiple brand voices and visual identities effectively.
- Capable of working quickly and delivering high-quality output under time constraints.
