About The Jacky Winter Group
Founded in 2007, The Jacky Winter Group is a creative production and representation studio with offices in Melbourne, New York, and London. Representing over 100 commercial artists specializing in various branches and partnerships, the group handles thousands of creative briefs annually including illustration, activations, animation, and special projects. Its main clients include advertising agencies, brands, publishers, and design studios.
Role Overview
The Creative Content Producer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production of content across The Jacky Winter Group's ecosystem. Primarily supporting Jacky Winter and occasionally contributing to associated ventures such as Solid Lines, Gildlings, Capital Virtues, Jacky Winter Gallery, and The Play Group, this role involves hands-on production, shooting, and editing of engaging social media content. Additionally, the role includes applying graphic design skills to marketing and promotional materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and produce content for social media channels.
- Oversee all stages of production including pre-production, filming, editing, and post-production.
- Capture artist interviews, studio visits, office culture highlights, event summaries, and project showcases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate content ideas and spot new opportunities.
- Manage production timelines and coordinate shoots effectively.
- Edit both short and long-form video content optimized for social platforms.
- Create social media assets and marketing collateral adhering to existing brand standards.
- Maintain an organized archive of content, images, and project files.
- Present creative concepts, share progress updates, and integrate feedback from stakeholders throughout the production process.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing content production from initial concept to completion.
- Experience producing engaging social-first video content.
- Strong visual storytelling skills with attention to creative detail.
- Proficient in shooting and editing self-produced content.
- Graphic design expertise with familiarity in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working collaboratively within creative teams while independently managing workflow.
- A passion for art, illustration, design, and creative culture.
Technical Skills
- Required: Video editing proficiency in Premiere Pro or similar software.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of Figma, Butter, Pitch, and other Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Additional Information
- This is an ongoing contract role requiring around 25-30 hours a week across 3-4 days, with approximately half the time onsite at the Collingwood studio.
- The company supplies camera, audio equipment, and production technology, while the candidate must provide their own laptop.
