Role summary
This position is responsible for end-to-end ownership of the market’s performance, including overall financial results and day-to-day management. The role leads the local team, including Commercial Directors, to drive growth, operational discipline, and delivery across production, agency/studio, and activation services.
Core responsibilities
- Take full accountability for the market’s revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and cash position, while delivering on annual budgets and growth plans.
- Oversee commercial performance, with Commercial Directors reporting into this role and overall responsibility for revenue continuity.
- Maintain clear visibility on the market pipeline and forecast accuracy, and personally support lead development, key client meetings, and deal closure when required.
- Lead, coach, and develop the local leadership team while also owning talent matters, performance, organizational health, governance, finance coordination, and day-to-day market operations.
- Bring strong subject-matter knowledge of POSM, retail production houses, agencies, studio work, design, activation, events, and exhibitions.
- Work across factory/production, design, and finance teams to ensure client deliverables meet quality, budget, and timing expectations.
- Manage production allocation across factories in the market, including capacity planning, utilization, in-house versus outsourced production decisions, and factory selection to balance cost, quality, lead time, and margin.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 10 years of leadership experience is expected.
- Strong background in managing P&L and leading cross-functional teams is essential.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, retail production, or branding-related industries is preferred.
