Corporate Security Operations Officer

Overview

Qatar Airways invites applications for the position of Corporate Security Operations Officer within the Group Risk, Safety & Security team, located in Doha, Qatar. This role is pivotal in managing the physical security of corporate accommodations and commercial properties, ensuring they meet rigorous safety standards, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders including law enforcement and third-party security services.

Key Responsibilities

• Address daily facility security needs from both internal and external stakeholders promptly.
• Investigate security breaches involving Qatar Airways' accommodation and commercial sites, conducting interviews and collaborating with local authorities as necessary.
• Perform thorough security audits across company properties within Doha, recommend improvements, and enforce compliance with security protocols.
• Manage the physical security infrastructure including addressing electronic security system issues through coordination with relevant departments.
• Organize security personnel deployment for Qatar Airways events and coordinate with stakeholders to accommodate operational security requirements.
• Revise and maintain security SOPs and operational procedures, ensuring alignment with company standards.
• Supervise security staff performance and provide routine status reports to Corporate Security Management.
• Process and review security-related documentation such as reports, checklists, and BAT reports via the QRISP security portal, ensuring quick resolution of concerns.
• Maintain comprehensive security records including master security service provider lists, monthly billing, and facility security documents.
• Oversee the maintenance and calibration of BAT machines with service providers to guarantee operational effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
• Possession of a valid Qatari Driving License or ability to obtain one within 60 days from employment start.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising teams, managing workflows, and supporting operational initiatives.
• Hands-on expertise in CCTV operations and other security-related functions.
• Strong leadership capabilities including delegation, mentoring, clear communication, and fostering teamwork.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems; familiarity with office equipment and administrative procedures.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
• Computer proficiency certificates (such as Microsoft Office) are desirable.
