Role Overview

The Corporate Relations Officer will be instrumental in building and nurturing strategic partnerships with corporate entities, overseeing placement initiatives, and ensuring alignment between training programs and market demands to secure rewarding job opportunities for our graduates.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new corporate clients including MNCs, startups, and specialized organizations to broaden our recruitment network.
• Lead outreach efforts, deliver compelling presentations, and manage contract negotiations such as MOUs for campus placements, internships, and hiring collaborations.
• Maintain enduring relationships with HR professionals, talent acquisition leaders, and corporate executives.
• Organize and execute smooth placement drives, both virtual and on-campus, for various cohorts.
• Serve as the key liaison connecting recruiters and the placement team throughout the recruitment process, from job description alignment to offer finalization.
• Monitor and analyze placement outcomes, including placement ratios, salary averages, and recruiter feedback, reporting these metrics to leadership.
• Collect and interpret real-time insights from hiring partners on skill demands, hiring trends, and candidate suitability.
• Collaborate with academic teams to update course content ensuring alignment with corporate expectations.
• Coordinate guest lectures, industry visits, CXO roundtables, and workshops to enhance student industry exposure.
• Support student readiness through mock interviews, resume evaluation, and soft skills coaching.
• Advise students on professional standards, career paths, and corporate etiquette.
• Manage candidate participation and maintain professionalism during recruitment activities.

Key Performance Indicators

• Percentage of job-ready students placed within targeted timelines.
• Number of new corporate partnerships secured quarterly.
• Retention rates of active hiring partners.
• Average compensation levels and relevance of roles obtained by graduates.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Mass Communication, or related areas.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placement management, corporate sales, or university partnerships within educational institutions, EdTech enterprises, or recruitment firms.

Essential Skills and Competencies

• Established network of corporate HR and recruitment contacts.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, comfortable engaging senior corporate leadership.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills for business client acquisition.
• Competence with CRM software, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and placement tracking tools.
• Awareness of contemporary hiring trends in industries such as Technology, Finance, Digital Marketing, Healthcare, and Management.
