Overview
Jugendherberge Haltern am See features 234 beds and welcomes approximately 17,000 guests annually. Our 27-person team is dedicated to ensuring a pleasant stay for families with children, school groups, sports teams, conference attendees, and holiday participants. The property includes a main house plus a "Roman Village" with six houses accommodating up to 66 people.
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Cook (m/f/d) for full-time or part-time engagement starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals and serve them, managing the buffet to meet our high aesthetic standards.
- Ensure compliance with Smile® quality management standards and strict hygiene regulations.
- Perform general cleaning and washing duties within the kitchen.
- Assist kitchen management with organizational tasks.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training as a cook (m/f/d).
- Enjoy presentation of dishes and buffet supervision.
- Maintain polite demeanor and professional appearance.
- Enjoy interaction with guests as well as kitchen work.
- Proficient in German.
- Value teamwork and cooperation.
- Flexible and resilient.
- Proactive with creative ideas.
