Role Overview

Laurel is recruiting its inaugural Controller, reporting to the CFO, at a crucial growth phase. With substantial market momentum and exponential growth, the company is scaling from a time intelligence platform into a wider enterprise workflow intelligence business. The Controller will establish the company's financial infrastructure, creating scalable accounting functions and adopting AI-driven efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations and closing procedures
• Design scalable accounting policies, controls, and reporting frameworks
• Oversee audits and manage external accounting partnerships
• Drive finance process automation and AI-enhanced efficiencies
• Recruit, build, and mentor the accounting team for future needs
• Partner strategically with CFO and leadership for fundraising readiness, scaling operations, and public company preparation

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $270,000 annually.
