Role Responsibilities

  • Contribute to corporate planning and periodic forecasting in close collaboration with executive management.
  • Manage controlling activities for business distributed via Managing General Agents (MGAs), focusing on profitability and economic management.
  • Coordinate data submissions from MGAs for planning, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring high data quality.
  • Develop and enhance reporting processes for reinsurance activities, providing meaningful analyses and decision support to management.
  • Conduct regular reporting to the corporate group according to group-wide requirements and act as the point of contact for the group's FP&A tool.
  • Continuously improve controlling, planning, and reporting procedures while supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings from a controlling perspective and participating in cross-departmental projects.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A completed degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on controlling, finance, or accounting.
  • Initial professional experience in controlling, preferably within insurance, financial services, or auditing sectors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with BI tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style; experience preparing plans, forecasts, management reports, and profitability analyses.
