Stellenbeschreibung

About the Company

Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA) delivers sustainable power solutions that keep critical industries operating. Its work supports defence, data centres, mining, utilities and major infrastructure projects across Australia. As the Cat® engine dealer for Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, the business combines global innovation with local expertise to provide dependable power solutions.

About the Role

EPSA is looking for a Contract Administrator to support the execution of major power, energy and infrastructure projects nationwide. In this position, you will work with Project Managers, Commercial Managers and delivery teams to manage contractual responsibilities, monitor compliance and help drive commercial performance across a varied portfolio of projects.

The role includes hands-on involvement in variations, claims, subcontract administration and record keeping, while helping protect the company’s commercial interests on high-value EPC and infrastructure work. It is also a strong opportunity to learn from experienced project and commercial professionals and build a long-term career in a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee head contracts and subcontract agreements across several projects around Australia.
  • Handle contractual notices, variations, claims and entitlement-related submissions.
  • Support progress claims, payment schedules and assessment of subcontractor claims.
  • Keep contract registers, compliance files and other contractual records accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with subcontract administration, procurement activities and risk management tasks.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring solid commercial judgement and a team-focused approach. Experience in contract administration across construction, infrastructure, energy, industrial or EPC settings is important, along with a good grasp of contract processes, variations, claims and related commercial work.

You should be able to interpret agreements, assess complex issues and identify commercial risks confidently. Experience supporting major projects in the $50M to $150M+ range is also required.

Preferred Background

A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commerce or a similar field is highly regarded. Familiarity with Australian standard contract forms such as AS4000, AS4902, NEC or FIDIC is also valued.

Additional advantage will go to candidates who have worked with Tier 1, Tier 2 or major EPC contractors on the contractor or supplier side, especially on power generation, mining, industrial or large infrastructure projects. Exposure to Procore, ERP platforms and project controls environments will also be beneficial.

Why Join EPSA

EPSA offers the chance to contribute to significant projects while working with a team that values integrity, accountability and care. The business is expanding, giving you exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects and an opportunity to grow alongside the organisation.

Employees receive structured onboarding and development through Cat® University, paid birthday leave and volunteer leave, recognition and service awards, referral incentives, retail and health insurance discounts, novated leasing options, paid parental leave, and learning and development opportunities.
