Role Overview
This part-time remote position is focused on developing engaging digital medical education content. The role involves researching medical topics, writing short and long-form educational scripts, and working with the team to produce clear visual learning materials that support exam goals and clinical understanding. You will also help adapt complex ideas into easy-to-follow language, coordinate with editors or designers on visuals, improve content using feedback and analytics, and deliver work on schedule while working independently.
Key Work Areas
- Research medical topics thoroughly before turning them into learner-friendly content.
- Write concise explainers as well as longer educational scripts for video-based learning.
- Break down complex topics into simple, structured, and exam-focused explanations.
- Work with editors or designers to create visuals, slides, and other supporting assets.
- Prepare content for YouTube and the MedicoMedics website.
- Review analytics and audience feedback to improve future content.
- Maintain the platform’s educational quality and tone across all output.
- Work independently and meet agreed content deadlines.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be able to turn advanced clinical, pharmacology, and pathophysiology concepts into clear, exam-oriented teaching content. Experience in digital content production, especially scripting videos and helping build educational materials, is valuable. Comfort with remote collaboration tools, document sharing, video communication, and basic content workflows is needed. Strong written and spoken English is important, along with an organized, learner-focused style of communication. A background in medicine or another health science field is strongly preferred, and prior exposure to teaching, tutoring, or medical education content creation will be an advantage. Familiarity with exams such as USMLE, PLAB, or NEET-PG is a plus, as is awareness of current trends in medical education.
