Role Overview
We seek a proactive Construction Project Coordinator who thrives in a role combining office work with active site involvement. This position is central to smooth project execution, involving daily coordination of site activities, progress monitoring, material management, logistics scheduling, and robust communication between site supervisors, suppliers, clients, and general contractors.
Key Duties
- Regularly visit construction sites to assess progress and identify project requirements.
- Manage and coordinate daily operations with field crews and site supervisors.
- Place material orders and verify timely delivery aligned with project timelines.
- Monitor material consumption to ensure uninterrupted workflow at job sites.
- Oversee logistics including deliveries, equipment scheduling, and site coordination.
- Maintain communication lines with suppliers, clients, and general contractors.
- Participate in site meetings and provide comprehensive project status updates.
- Address and resolve routine site challenges to maintain schedule adherence.
- Keep detailed project documentation, reports, and records up to date.
Candidate Profile
- At least three years’ experience in construction coordination, project coordination, site supervision, or related fields.
- Prior exposure to masonry, stucco, or exterior wall systems is highly advantageous.
- Competency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communicative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Possession of a valid Ontario driver’s license paired with dependable personal transportation.
