Consolidation Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Consolidation Supervisor to lead and manage the daily consolidation activities within our warehouse. This role involves supervising team leaders and warehouse personnel to maintain operational excellence, uphold quality and safety standards, and collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and precise outbound shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and organize daily consolidation operations to maintain smooth workflow and guarantee prompt dispatches.
• Guide and support Team Leaders and warehouse associates to meet performance indicators and productivity goals.
• Ensure order accuracy, uphold consolidation quality, and enforce adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Allocate workforce effectively based on daily priorities and shipment volumes.
• Work closely with inbound logistics, inventory, dispatch, and transportation teams to facilitate seamless warehouse functions.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for process enhancements.
• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and company policies within the consolidation zone.
• Review operational reports, shipment paperwork, and system transactions for accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues promptly to reduce errors and delays.
• Support staff training, manage performance, and promote employee development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• At least 4 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• A minimum of 2 years working in a supervisory capacity within warehouse or distribution settings.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse functions including consolidation, inventory control, picking, packing, loading, and dispatch procedures.
• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement techniques is advantageous.
• Strong leadership capabilities combined with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on quality, precision, and customer satisfaction.
