Work Arrangement and Training

This role is remote after successful completion of onboarding. New employees are required to attend two weeks of on-site training at our Carrollton, TX corporate office to facilitate a smooth transition.

Position Overview

The Compliance Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for auditing and reviewing organizational services and workflows across all departments to guarantee adherence to corporate and governmental regulations while upholding quality standards. This role involves performing daily audits, analyzing outcomes, and recommending process enhancements to maintain transparency and accountability in quality assurance.

Principal Responsibilities

• Review new client applications and account renewals ensuring compliance with IRS, HIPAA, and Department of Labor regulations (advanced level).
• Manage COBRA responsibilities including reviewing qualified beneficiaries and special plan member accounts, and verifying the accuracy of COBRA plan and rate setups (intermediate level).
• Monitor calls to verify accurate information is given to customers and to ensure a high-quality experience provided by Participant Service representatives (intermediate level).
• Conduct daily peer quality assurance reviews by sampling team members’ work to meet or exceed an accuracy target of 98% (intermediate level).
• Periodically review and update standard operating procedures and related documentation (advanced level).
• Execute various audits and projects under set parameters within provided timelines (advanced level).
• Handle daily assigned tasks fluctuating with workload while consistently meeting team goals and turnaround objectives (intermediate level).

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in audits and documentation (advanced level).
• Ability to accurately follow complex written and verbal instructions for audit execution (intermediate level).
• Comprehensive knowledge of Ameriflex systems, policies, and internet-based program navigation (advanced level).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including email etiquette (intermediate level).
• Effective problem-solving skills demonstrated through resolving issues proactively (advanced level).
• Proficient time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment (intermediate level).
• Collaborative worker who contributes to team success by sharing expertise and supporting colleagues (intermediate level).

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferred education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college.
• Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience; prior quality assurance experience is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation rate for this position is $21.50 per hour, with eligibility for bonuses.
