Role Overview

As a Commercial Development Executive within the Race Promotion team, you will support assessing, developing, and executing new race opportunities globally. This role reports to the Senior Commercial Development Manager and is based onsite in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic evaluations of potential new markets considering commercial viability, political contexts, and other factors.
  • Continuously monitor relevant news and developments in key regions to inform engagements with local stakeholders.
  • Prepare briefing documents to support senior leadership in discussions with prospective race hosts.
  • Maintain and track a pipeline of race opportunities ensuring transparent visibility on progress and next actions.
  • Develop frameworks and criteria to assess and select race opportunities.
  • Support contract renewal strategies by analyzing commercial data and event feedback.
  • Assist in preparing financial models and negotiation materials for promoter discussions.
  • Create presentations and materials for senior leadership on long-term race strategy and calendar development.
  • Contribute to high-priority projects within the Race Promotion department.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess an international perspective with knowledge of geopolitics; language skills relevant to key F1 markets are highly advantageous.
  • Eager to learn and committed to ongoing personal and professional growth.
  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a prestigious university.
  • Have 2-4 years of experience in demanding cross-functional roles in sectors such as sports, strategy, or consulting.
