Stellenbeschreibung
Role overview
Delane Consulting and Talent Management is hiring a Clinical Recruiter for a 6-month contract assignment supporting a healthcare insurance client in New York City. The position is remote, and the selected professional should be comfortable collaborating with a distributed team that works on Eastern Standard Time.
This is a blended recruiting role. The main responsibility is end-to-end hiring for clinical and closely related healthcare positions, while additional support may be needed for corporate headquarters hiring across functions such as Product Management, Finance, Project Management, Executive Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, and Operations, depending on workload.
Clinical recruiting focus
The primary part of the role centers on managing full-cycle recruitment for licensed and credentialed healthcare positions. This includes roles such as RN Case Managers, Utilization Review Nurses, Medical Directors, and Clinical Quality or Compliance staff.
You will need to assess licensure and credentialing needs, including requirements such as RN, LPN, and NP credentials, and verify state-specific compliance factors relevant to a health plan or payer environment. You will also work closely with clinical hiring leaders to shape sourcing approaches and build candidate pipelines through niche job boards, nursing and clinical associations, LinkedIn, and referrals.
Corporate recruiting support
In addition to clinical hiring, you may support recruiting for headquarters and business roles when needed. These reqs may cover Product Management, Finance, Project Management, Executive Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, and Operations. For these searches, you will use standard full-cycle recruiting methods such as sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
Shared duties
- Handle a combined requisition load across both clinical and corporate openings, with volume depending on client needs.
- Share shortlisted candidates with hiring managers and explain the reasoning behind each recommendation.
- Arrange interviews and move candidates through the offer stage.
- Keep candidate and requisition information current in the client's ATS.
- Provide routine updates on requisition progress, pipeline strength, and time-to-fill metrics, separating clinical and corporate data.
- Maintain a smooth, compliant, and positive candidate journey in a regulated healthcare insurance setting.
Qualifications
A successful candidate will bring at least 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including direct work hiring for clinical or licensed healthcare positions. You should understand clinical licensure and credentialing requirements well enough to screen for them confidently, and you should also have experience recruiting for corporate or headquarters functions so that you can move between specialties as needed.
Strong sourcing ability is required, including use of niche clinical channels and Boolean search techniques for corporate roles. Prior experience working in an ATS such as Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, or a similar system is expected. You should also be comfortable partnering with both clinical and business stakeholders, working independently in a fast-moving remote contract environment, and communicating clearly in writing and verbally.
Preferred background
Experience gained in an in-house or agency recruiting setting within a health plan or payer organization is preferred. Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or state Department of Health credentialing standards used in health plan clinical staffing is also an advantage.
Engagement details
This is a W2 contractor role through Delane Consulting and Talent Management. The assignment runs for 6 months and may be extended if business needs continue.
