Role Overview

We have an engaging opportunity for motivated and dependable Cleaners to join our team at a retail location. This role suits individuals who thrive in fast-moving settings, have a keen eye for detail, and are passionate about maintaining pristine and inviting environments for clients and customers.

The full-time position follows this schedule:

• Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 2:06 PM
• Wednesday to Saturday: 9:54 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation will comply with the relevant Award standards.

Essential Role Requirements

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning, preferably in external environments.
• Prior work in shopping centres or major commercial settings is highly preferred.
• A valid Australian Driver’s Licence is mandatory, enabling operation of site vehicles and travel between cleaning zones.
• Familiarity with pressure washers, ride-on scrubbers, and similar cleaning equipment is advantageous; training will be provided as needed.
• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively while upholding high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
• Availability for flexible working hours, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive external cleaning operations across the shopping centre, encompassing outdoor spaces, walkways, car parks, and service areas.
• Safely operate cleaning machinery such as pressure washers and ride-on scrubbers.
• Ensure cleanliness levels consistently meet site and corporate standards.
• Immediately report hazards, maintenance issues, and safety risks.
• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety practices, including appropriate chemical handling, equipment use, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
