Chief Strategy and Capital Officer

About the Role

Park Community Credit Union is looking for a visionary executive to join as Chief Strategy and Capital Officer (CSCO) in Louisville, KY. As a key member of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO, the CSCO will design and implement the organization's enterprise financial strategy, capital allocation, and long-term growth plans. This pivotal role combines deep financial expertise with strategic leadership to propel the credit union's mission-driven objectives, leveraging data insights and future-focused analysis to enhance decision-making and enterprise performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise financial strategy and capital planning, including capital deployment, optimization, and long-range forecasting such as ECIP strategy.
• Oversee balance sheet strategy focusing on liquidity, funding, asset allocation, and yield maximization to support sustainable growth.
• Translate strategic objectives into quantifiable financial targets and performance goals aligning with organizational priorities.
• Manage enterprise financial modeling, scenario planning, and data analytics to support strategic financial decisions and risk management.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on growth, revenue, pricing strategies, loan and deposit expansion, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and risk alignment throughout finance operations.
• Advance enterprise analytics capabilities to transform financial and operational data into actionable insights and predictive intelligence.
• Guide financial strategies for strategic partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and organizational transformation projects.
• Uphold and embody Park Community Credit Union's culture, values, and mission in all activities.

• Monitor financial trends and adjust strategies proactively.
• Identify innovative opportunities for revenue growth, cost savings, and financial optimization.
• Foster a professional work environment with teamwork, respect, and security compliance.

Qualifications and Skills

• 10 to 15 years of relevant financial leadership experience.
• Advanced degree preferred: Master’s degree or Bachelor’s plus certification such as CPA.
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting required.
• Proficient with accounting, spreadsheet, and word processing software; experience with banking data systems preferred.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
• Ability to motivate, influence, and collaborate effectively across multiple levels and departments.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Position based onsite in a general office setting with regular interaction with customers.
• Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking short distances, using hands for handling documents and office equipment.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds and movement of office furniture.
