Role Overview

As Chief Operating Officer (COO), reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as the operational leader driving the company’s next growth phase. You will be pivotal in negotiating with international manufacturers, enhancing operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and overseeing supplier, investor, and stakeholders relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily company operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Convert strategic objectives into actionable plans with clear measurable results.
  • Establish and maintain effective organizational structures, reporting schedules, and governance frameworks.
  • Lead and synchronize cross-functional teams located across multiple time zones.
  • Drive continual improvements in processes, efficiency, and overall organizational performance.
  • Support recruitment and talent growth in engineering, software, cloud, sales, and international operations.
  • Oversee and strengthen relationships with key suppliers and international manufacturing partners.
  • Negotiate commercial deals, pricing, production capacities, and service level agreements.
  • Enhance transparency and decision-making via KPIs, reporting, and data analytics.
  • Collaborate with leadership to manage scaling operations on a global scale.
  • Foster a high-achievement culture emphasizing accountability, cooperation, and tangible outcomes.

Candidate Profile

  • Experienced operational leader with senior, general management, or executive leadership background.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
  • Proven track record negotiating with international manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling organizations through growth and transformational phases.
  • Strong commercial insight and financial literacy.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experienced in managing multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Combination of hands-on pragmatism and strategic foresight.
  • Confident in influencing decisions at board level.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of £120,000 to £135,000 annually.
