Casual Production Workers

Role overview

This is an on-call casual production role based at a recognised food manufacturing facility in Papakura, Auckland. The position is intended for people who want flexible weekday work that can suit their lifestyle. Shift patterns

When required, shifts may include the following:

• Morning shift: 12:05 am to 8:05 am
• Day shift: 7:55 am to 4:25 pm
• Afternoon/evening shift: 4:15 pm to 12:15 am

Work is scheduled Monday to Friday only. There are no weekend shifts, and the site is closed on public holidays.

Key duties

• Assembling and packing pre-packaged snack items
• Moving and sorting packaged goods, with weights of up to 5 kg
• Checking product quality and compliance with expected standards
• Helping maintain hygiene and food safety requirements
• Assisting production teams wherever support is needed

About the ideal candidate

• Able to work in a busy, fast-moving setting and remain physically capable throughout the shift
• Comfortable with casual on-call work and flexible availability
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to pitch in
• Able to travel to Papakura for early starts, including shifts beginning at 12:05 am
• Quick to take direction and learn new tasks
• Prior experience in food manufacturing is helpful, though not essential
• Must be at least 18 years old
