Role Overview
The CAD Designer specializing in Office Furniture Space Planning will develop and conceptualize efficient office layouts tailored to client needs using CAD technology. This role supports the sales team by advising on design alternatives to enhance client experience. This is a full-time, permanent position located on-site in Brampton, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D furniture layouts using Giza design software with high accuracy
- Design functional office space plans based on client specifications
- Provide guidance and alternative concepts on color schemes to support sales representatives and clients
- Enhance product knowledge of various manufacturers
- Occasionally accompany sales reps on-site to gather measurements, provide design consultations, and prepare preliminary sketches
- Coordinate with manufacturer designers to ensure projects comply with specifications and deadlines
- Follow up with sales teams to gather necessary information for layout completion
- Pursue ongoing training and development opportunities through online resources, manufacturer sessions, and software updates
Candidate Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with creativity within client constraints
- Strong organizational skills and adept time management
- Excellent customer service abilities both in-person and by phone
- Completed post-secondary education in Interior Design or Arts
- Two to three years of experience with CAD software such as 20-20 or AutoCAD
- Familiarity with CET Designer (Configura) is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
