About the Role and Company
We are looking for a seasoned Business Solutions Partner to join IVIX, dedicated to supporting clients throughout the Central and Eastern regions of the United States. IVIX offers a pioneering AI-powered platform crafted to tackle a $20 trillion global challenge by exposing illicit economic activities worldwide. Utilizing Open-Source Intelligence and advanced technologies such as deep neural networks, large language models, and predictive analytics, IVIX equips governments to combat financial crimes and tax evasion efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with state tax authorities, gaining comprehensive insights into their jurisdictional nuances and operational frameworks.
- Act as the principal liaison between tax agencies and IVIX, converting complex regulatory and operational challenges into well-defined technical solutions driven by IVIX's innovative platform.
- Provide tax expertise, addressing complex jurisdictional inquiries and shaping internal product enhancements aligned with customer demands.
- Manage the complete delivery process from initial Proof of Value (POV) demonstrations through full deployment, overseeing schedules, milestones, and success metrics to secure impactful outcomes.
- Advocate customer perspectives internally by collaborating with Product, Research & Development, Data Solutions, and Sales teams to foster continuous product advancement.
- Work closely with Sales leadership to uncover opportunities for contract renewals and expansions by demonstrating clear returns on investment and leveraging client accomplishments.
- Proactively oversee stakeholder communications, identify potential risks early, and resolve conflicts to ensure enduring client relationships.
Qualifications and Required Experience
- Minimum 15 years of direct and leadership experience in tax enforcement at organizations like Department of Revenue (DOR), IRS, or equivalent; alternatively, at least 8 years in specialized tax consultancy (such as Big Four SALT or Forensics).
- Proven experience managing complex investigations or critical audit initiatives, exemplifying a robust 'Audit DNA'.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements across multiple tax jurisdictions.
- Client-focused approach with the ability to lead coordination meetings, maintain intricate timelines, and harmonize senior-level stakeholders.
- Technical inclination with aptitude to comprehend AI-enhanced technology and analytical techniques; advanced Excel skills are particularly beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative or business-related fields like Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Statistics. Advanced degrees are favorable.
- Adept at thriving in fast-moving, dynamic, and less structured environments.
- Highly developed intercultural competence, emotional intelligence, and relationship management skills across diverse groups.
- Strong sense of ownership capable of influencing outcomes without formal authority, executing tasks both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel as necessary within the US and occasionally to Israel to support client engagements.
- Experience with Sales & Use, Corporate Income, or Nexus tax investigations is highly valued.
- Spanish language proficiency is considered a significant advantage.
