Business Finance / FP&A Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Finance / FP&A Analyst to join our team in Bangalore. The selected candidate will actively contribute to financial planning, comprehensive analysis, and support strategic business decisions by partnering closely with multiple departmental groups.

Key Duties

• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and detailed financial models.
• Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts to identify discrepancies.
• Create and disseminate Management Information System (MIS) reports and dashboards for business insights.
• Track and analyze revenue streams, expenses, profit margins, and resource utilization.
• Assist in pricing strategies, evaluating deals, and analyzing profitability to guide business choices.
• Collaborate with various business units to monitor and enhance financial performance metrics.
• Spot opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational background including B.Com, M.Com, MBA, or CA credentials.
• Professional experience ranging between 3 to 7 years in financial planning and analysis or business finance roles.

Skill Set

• Proficient knowledge in FP&A or business finance with practical application.
• Deep understanding of profit and loss statements, revenue generation, and cost components.
• Advanced competency in Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling techniques.
• Experience in management reporting and performing variance analysis.
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
