inline is a business-to-business SaaS solution specially designed for restaurants, trusted by over 11,000 establishments spanning Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Japan. The platform streamlines daily front-of-house operations such as reservations, table and queue management, and digital ordering to enhance operational efficiency, improve guest experiences, and boost revenue. Our clientele includes everything from Michelin-starred restaurants to prominent local and regional dining groups.
Singapore remains one of our fastest-expanding markets and we are actively expanding our sales team locally to further extend our presence.
Role Overview
As part of our APAC expansion, we are looking for a Business Development Specialist to initiate new business opportunities, engage partners in the hospitality sector, and help qualify sales prospects for our wider sales operation. This position plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and directly supports the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively source and generate new business leads through multiple avenues such as email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Conduct detailed research to identify potential leads and decision-makers within target organizations.
- Effectively communicate inline's product advantages, emphasizing how it benefits hospitality businesses.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records of outreach and sales pipeline activities, preferably using Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Work collaboratively with the Customer Success Manager to ensure smooth transition and follow-up with qualified leads.
- Collect and distribute intelligence on market trends and competitor strategies to inform sales approaches.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of one year’s experience in B2B sales, business development, or sales development representative roles, preferably within SaaS or hospitality technology sectors.
- Ability to educate prospective customers on product value and its impact on hospitality businesses.
- Excellent communication and persuasive skills, with strong phone and email engagement capabilities.
- Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot for managing pipelines.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and a structured approach to managing sales pipelines.
- A proactive hunter mentality focused on new business acquisition.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to food & beverage, hospitality, or small-to-medium business clients in Singapore.
- Mandarin language skills to effectively engage operators who speak Mandarin.
- Singaporean Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
