Role Overview
As Grata experiences rapid growth, they seek a Business Development Representative based in their Frankfurt office, working onsite Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. This position suits a results-driven closer who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings and aims to boost revenue while expanding Grata's footprint in financial services sectors such as Private Equity, M&A, and Investment Banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively create new business opportunities through outbound communications including email, phone calls, and LinkedIn.
- Conduct thorough research to pinpoint target accounts and key decision-makers within Private Equity, M&A, and Investment Banking firms.
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings and facilitate a seamless transition to the sales team.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure alignment on targets, messaging, and priority actions.
- Coordinate with Marketing to pursue leads generated by campaigns, events, and content.
- Keep the CRM updated with accurate data to maintain pipeline accuracy and hygiene.
- Regularly test and refine outreach messages and prospecting methods to improve effectiveness.
- Seek continuous feedback and coaching to enhance professional growth in sales.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, or similar commercial roles, preferably within startup or high-growth environments.
- Keen interest and experience in lead generation, outbound outreach, and pipeline development within a structured sales framework.
- Curiosity about or initial experience in Private Equity, M&A, or Investment Banking is advantageous but not essential.
- Skilled in managing high volume outreach across multiple channels while maintaining organization and a data-driven approach.
- Understanding of fast sales cycles and proactive prospecting with eagerness to learn complex deal processes.
- Resilient and motivated mindset, comfortable handling rejection and driven by progress.
- Exceptional communication abilities and teamwork skills to collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Operations.
- Fluent in English and German at the business level.
