Business Development Officer

Job Overview

The role is based in Coimbatore, Tirupur, or Erode and focuses on expanding the customer base for chit fund schemes through proactive lead generation and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new leads via in-person visits, referrals, phone outreach, and local networking efforts.
• Clearly communicate chit fund plans including installment schedules, bidding procedures, advantages, and terms to potential clients.
• Convert interested prospects into chit subscribers while aiding them in completing KYC and necessary paperwork.
• Maintain ongoing contact with current customers to encourage prompt payment of monthly installments.
• Foster strong customer relationships to promote repeat business and generate referrals.
• Assist customers during the bidding process and when receiving chit payouts.
• Document daily and weekly sales activities along with managing lead pipelines.
• Work closely with branch managers and collections staff to streamline operations.
• Keep track of competitor activities and discover new customer segments to target.
