Role Overview
This role focuses on driving portfolio growth, fee income, and net interest margin targets specifically within SME Loan Against Property (LAP) core products. The incumbent is responsible for expanding the client base, managing existing relationships, ensuring high portfolio quality, and adhering to all policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve periodic loan book targets and related Net Interest Margin (NIM) goals within SME LAP products.
- Maintain budgeted fee income levels and promote cross-selling efforts to meet targets.
- Identify and acquire new clients such as promoters, brokers, corporates, and wealth clients through direct sales efforts, DSA, NDs, and referral channels.
- Develop and execute monthly sales plans targeting large prospective clients, maintaining regular weekly and monthly interactions.
- Establish and nurture a robust direct and DSA network to accelerate transaction turnaround times.
- Engage existing clients consistently to foster retention and encourage repeat business.
- Monitor client needs closely and oversee the relationship from initiation to closure, ensuring commitments are fulfilled and grievances addressed promptly.
- Uphold exemplary portfolio management standards including monitoring collections, resolving audit queries, and ensuring timely debt servicing and covenant compliance.
- Stay informed about local market developments to enable proactive decision-making.
- Regularly analyze MIS data monthly or quarterly, depending on sector, to detect any risk indicators or early warning signs.
- Issue necessary customer documents such as NOCs to facilitate seamless business operations.
- Ensure full compliance with critical policies, processes, and documentation requirements for all relevant products.
- Support risk management by continually monitoring client profiles and margin shortfalls, working to maintain zero non-performing assets.
- Maintain and update Lead Management System (LMS) entries for all client interactions and transactions, providing periodic sales and lead closure reports to leadership.
- Continuously invest in personal and professional development by attending training and obtaining relevant certifications in financial sales services.
