Role Overview
The Business Development Manager position is a full-time, remote opportunity responsible for increasing Netfreak's audience base, forming strategic partnerships, and uncovering new revenue streams. Key responsibilities include identifying and cultivating relationships with brands, media agencies, and content creators; devising and implementing growth plans to enhance traffic, subscriptions, and sponsorships; negotiating collaborative, advertising, and affiliate contracts; performing market and competitive analysis; and proposing business innovations to broaden Netfreak's market footprint.
This role collaborates closely with editorial, marketing, and technology teams to ensure that business growth efforts are aligned with content strategies and comply with ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or partnership management within digital media, online publishing, or related sectors.
- Expertise in building relationships, managing stakeholders, and negotiating mutually beneficial partnership deals.
- Strong skills in market research, data analytics, and using analytical tools to guide strategy and assess outcomes.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, content monetization strategies, and audience growth methods such as sponsorships, advertising, affiliate marketing, and collaborations.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of effectively presenting proposals and reports to partners and internal teams.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, handle several projects concurrently, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with content domains such as entertainment, lifestyle, finance, health, or mythology is considered beneficial.
